Game Day Volunteer Opportunities

Our boys put in a lot of work before they hit the pitch on game night, but there’s also a lot of work going on behind the scenes to ensure that those same boys enjoy a great soccer season. We need your help, and the boys are counting on you to pitch in. There are multiple ways for you to get involved, and many of the volunteer options are a great opportunity for a student to earn service hours.

Following are the volunteer opportunities that are available at each home game throughout the season:

1. Concessions: 2-4 volunteers for JV games and 2-4 volunteers for Varsity games. Varsity parents are strongly encouraged to work JV games and vice versa. That way everyone gets to see their son play.
2. Gate Attendee:  2 volunteers for each JV game, and 2 volunteers for each Varsity game.
3. Ball Chasers: 4 volunteers (adult or child over age 10) for each JV and Varsity game.
4. Statisticians: 1 volunteer for each JV game, and 1 volunteer for each Varsity game.
5. USQOR Keepers: 1 volunteer for each JV game, and 1 volunteer for each Varsity game.
6. Hang Banners: 1-2 volunteers to hang and take down sponsor banners and senior banners at each home game.
7. Photographers/Videographers

 Lincoln Soccer Booster Leadership Volunteer Opportunities

In order to effectively run our Lincoln Soccer Booster Organization and ensure our players have the resources they need throughout the season, we need long-term volunteers to assist with various board positions each year. Below are positions outlined in the Booster documents. 

1. Lead/President - manages the overall booster organization; develops board meetings and creates annual plan; organizes board obligations and assigns duties to volunteer members
2. Treasurer - manages the finances of organizations; processes player fee payments, sponsorship funds, purchases, provides audit documentation support, files required non-profit documents. 
3. Concessions Lead - ensures all concession items are purchased prior to games, assigns concessions duties to volunteer members, manages funds received through purchases, ensure concessions are open and closed properly each home game
4. Social Media/Website - manages the team's social media accounts; posts updates, pictures, and meeting reminders; ensures the team's website is accurate and up to date
5. Travel Coordinator - requests quotes for bus or van transportation for out of town games; works with the Treasurer to ensure proper payment for all transportation requests; ensures meals are provided to players prior to loading for out of town games
6. Corporate Sponsorship/Fundraising - Seeks fundraising and corporate sponsor opportunities for the team; manages team fundraisers and works with the Treasurer to ensure payment. 
7. Volunteer Coordinator - Recruits and coordinates parent or student volunteers for each game day; ensures all volunteer needs are met and that individuals signed up are available to assist​
